Prego
Prego is one of the top five words you hear in Italy constantly. It doesn't have a direct translation to English in one word but it means, I pray thee, no problem, you are worth it, you are welcome, help yourself, I feel you are entitled, etc.
We just like the word so I wanted to name this blog Prego, Prego. But alas, someone had that name already in use so Prego, Prego, Prego, it is. Every time you hear someone say Grazie, you hear Prego, Prego. The Italians are very polite to each other. We like that!

This is a blog about our travels in Italy. We went once in March/April of 2008. We have just returned from a month in this beautiful country on January 8, 2010.
My experiences have been doubly blessed. Once for the travel experience itself which was fast-paced and magnificent and twice for the journey of recording it, and savoring it, and paying attention to the details of it in this blog.
Many friends and family members said they wanted to jump in our suitcases and come with us. This journal is the best I could do in sharing it all with you. Enjoy, dream, and go for it in your own life! You won't be disappointed!
